Mark your calendars for a meaningful event this September. The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is more than just a walk—it's a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. On Sunday, September 15th, at 9:00 AM, we’ll gather at Rollins Park in Concord, NH, to stand together as a community, united in the fight against suicide and mental health conditions.
This event is a powerful opportunity to honor loved ones lost to suicide, support those struggling with mental health challenges, and bring awareness to the critical issue of mental health in our communities. By participating in the walk, you're contributing to a cause that aims to save lives and provide hope to those affected by suicide.
Why Should You Join?
Remembrance: Take a moment to remember and honor those we’ve lost to suicide.
Hope: Spread hope and encourage those battling mental health conditions that they are not alone.
Support: Build a supportive community that recognizes the importance of mental health and stands by those who need it most.
Where Does the Money Go?
Funds raised through the Out of the Darkness Community Walk go directly to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). These contributions support critical research, educational programs, advocacy efforts, and provide much-needed support for those affected by suicide.
This is a family-friendly event, and everyone is welcome—whether you’ve been directly impacted by suicide or are passionate about supporting mental health in your community.
We hope to see you there, walking side by side with others who share a commitment to this important cause. Let's come together to make a difference and show that no one is ever alone in their struggles.
