Survivors of Suicide Loss: You’re Not Alone
Nationally, suicide is the second leading cause of death for young adults aged 24-34.
Sadly, nearly 50,000 individuals in the United States take their own lives each year (confirmed suicide deaths).
New Hampshire's suicide rate has recently been reported as approximately 35% higher than the national average, making it a top cause of death for younger demographics.
When an individual takes their own life, many people are impacted.
These “survivors of suicide loss” may be:
* Family members
* Friends
* Co-workers
* Neighbors
* Clinicians
* First responders
* Community members
* Anyone impacted by a suicide death
There are many resources available to help survivors of suicide loss get through the unimaginable:
